Welcome to 2022, the year thatâŚfollows 2021.
We arenât in the business of predictions.
But, we are keen observers of whatâs happening in the marketplaceâparticularly among marketers of legal and other professional services. We see that practitioners are researching ways to solve connectivity issues, to plug data gaps, to upgrade obsolete systems, and to make more with what they haveâwhether thatâs the same or fewer resources.
We canât proclaim that this year will be ânormalâ, that the Mets will be any less dysfunctional than the Roys, or that âyouâre on muteâ wonât be the first thing you say to colleagues during morning meetings.
We can, however, share three things that you can look forward to from us this yearâall of which interrelate with what weâre observing in legal marketing forums, CMO discussions, and in conversation with RubyLaw clients and prospects.
1. Release of RubyLaw 22âThe newest major version of RubyLaw is coming, and weâve initiated a fast-moving, seamless upgrade campaign for existing users of our software.
In addition to improved performance, user experience, and system security updates, RubyLaw 22 includes Data Export/Import, Drafts, Content Locking, Enhanced video capabilities, the new RubyShield Security Dashboard, and a continuous upgrade, continuous release, subscription delivery model.

Last year, we partnered with Calibrate Strategies to provide the most representative reflection, and followed it up with an ILTA article, a webinar, and a workshop at the LMA Annual Pre-Con.
